Ethereal ambient to chaotic noise feedback, processed field-recordings and industrial-like percussive sounds, YOKE manipulates sounds to create uncompromising soundscapes. Based in the French Alps, the solo sound project of Alexandre Degorgue likes to build tension in a cinematic way, like a string slowly tightening and loosening.

After a short DIY tour in California/Baja Cali (USA) in 2023, YOKE just released «Sur le Fragment de ce qu’il reste à sauver» a 40min tape of noisy ambient electronics and still displays his work in various ways: sountrack for experimental short movies, art exhibitions, multi-channels tracks and live performances.
