Timtation is a musician, digital artist and computer scientist. He works with human-machine interfaces, randomness and DIY modular synth hardware. In the late 90s, he was resident DJ on MS Stubnitz and the legendary Eimer Club in Berlin. After a short break of about 20 years he played a couple of live concerts in Europe – from Berlin, Vienna to Copenhagen. He’s an active participant at the Schmiede Festival near Salzburg, where he organized the audio lab.

Timtation is part of the artist collective ‘Solid Colors’ where he experiments with voices cut down to complete meaningless tonal phrases. He is also part of Philipp Otterbach’s studio project ‘Grand Optimist’.
