Seychal-Mills is a solo project I started in 2002 after several years of collaboration within various pop or post-rock bands. It gives me the opportunity to explore other directions, drawing mainly from the resources of electronica, a framework where I can focus on the setting of an atmosphere and the research for tensions. While remaining rather pop, my music is based on methods of composition inspired from jazz or classical music (like the use of quasi mathematical structures or polyrhythms).
