Matthias Müller aus Basel ist Komponist, Performer und Klangkünstler. Er lebt und arbeitet in Bern. In seiner künstlerischen Praxis erkundet und kreiert er Mischformen aus Klangperformance, Hörstück und Installation, indem er akustische und elektronische Klänge, Objekte, Licht, Raum, Stille, Aktionen und Nichtstun miteinander verknüpft. Er arbeitet oft eng mit anderen Menschen zusammen und spielt in bestehenden sowie einmaligen Gruppen Musiktheater, Klangperformances und Live-Elektronik. Zusammen mit der Performance-Künstlerin Jasmin Kiranoglu gründete er das Kollektiv Portakal Radikal.

Matthias Müller from Basel, is a composer, performer and sound artist. He lives and works in Bern. In his artistic practice, he explores and creates hybrid forms combining sound performance, audio pieces and installation, interweaving acoustic and electronic sounds, objects, light, space, silence, action and inaction. He often works closely with other artists and performs in both established and one-off groups, presenting music theatre, sound performances and live electronics. Together with the performance artist Jasmin Kiranoglu, he founded the collective Portakal Radikal.
