Ish S will be performing live material from the project called diFfuSed beats, which is a duo comprising of him and Konrad Bayer from Munich. They engage with sound with both philosophical and de-constructive aesthetics as their works are synthesized out of sounds, noises and field recordings that are layered with digital and analog synthesis.

ISh S is a composer, sound artist and a musician Based in Delhi / India and is involved with 3 different music and sound projects which includes diFfuSed beats and edGeCut. He also also creates Sound Art and mixed media Installations, along with music composition and sound design for Theatre and contemporary dance recitals. Ish is deeply involved with the Sound Reasons record label and he also curates the Sound Reasons Festival which takes place in India and across various cities in the South asian region.

diFfuSed beats use a lot of electronic synthesis along with the filed recordings where by re-arranging, re-contextualizing, re-constructing and re-interpreting the sonic material an acoustic topography of the places along with the hidden spaces that constitute the subjective observant self emerges. They try to engage with sound as a philosophical and social reverberant and not just as an aesthetic object. Both sound and electronic music are the main elements in their works and as they pursue it with an expressionist angle in order to reflect on the times we live in.
