Breaks and layers. Collages and repetitions. Hidden melodies, between doubts and conviction. Maybe it’s inertial in the first moment, in a static change in the second.

With the interest in electronic music and the possibilities of making his musical ideas audible Ramon Bischoff a.k.a. Arem soon got familiar with a digital environment for creating music.

The focus in his work is mainly on forming and arranging of sounds.
The thoughts and intentions behind the music always inspired him and his further work more than a concrete genre. Probably this is the reason, why he rather made trials with many musicalities but never wanted to get too much associated with a specific environment.

In 2013 he founded the music label Prefermusic, which represents his ideology of letting thoughts and ideas become music through a coneptual process.
Since 2014 he is working in Live-Electronics regularly with acoustic musicians. This process opened to him a lot new ideas to think more open-minded about composing.

All his artistic ideas are inspired by the individual perception of music as well as the interaction and relation in between sounds.
