ZH CHSwiss sound artist Andreas Steiner uses modular synthesizers to create soundscapes, which are like scenes from an acoustic movie with a surreal plot.
Andreas Steiner has been involved in music making since the 1980s. His inspirations can be found in the early experimental days of electronic music in the 60s, in punk rock for its deconstruction of the form of popular music and its reconstruction in overly sweet 80s synth pop. He also draws on elements found in modern classical music of the 20th century.
