Die Musik von “Behold! The Drone!” ist ein Wechselspiel aus Spannungen und Ruhe: Mal fliesst ein sanfter, meditativer Teppich aus Tönen, der die Zuhörenden in eine tief entspannende Atmosphäre eintauchen lässt, mal entwickelt sich eine düstere, beinahe drückende Geräuschkulisse, die die Grenzen des Wahrnehmbaren verschiebt. Durch den gezielten Einsatz von Field Recordings, Tape-Loops und Synthesizern werden subtile Klangbilder erschaffen.

Seit dem Bühnendebüt 2022 von “Behold! The Drone!” hat sich das Projekt stetig weiterentwickelt. Was mit einem Fokus auf modularen Eurorack-Synthesizer begann, ist mittlerweile zu einem facettenreichen Klanguniversum gewachsen, das eine Vielzahl experimenteller Synthesizer und Produktionstechniken einbezieht.

The music of “Behold! The Drone!” is a play of tensions and calm: sometimes a gentle, meditative carpet of tones flows, immersing the listeners in a deeply relaxing atmosphere, while at other times, a dark, almost suffocating soundscape develops that shifts the boundaries of perception. Through the deliberate use of field recordings, tape loops, and synthesizers, subtle soundscapes are created.

Since the stage debut of “Behold! The Drone!” in 2022, the project has continuously evolved. What began with a focus on modular Eurorack synthesizers has now grown into a multifaceted sonic universe that incorporates a variety of experimental synthesizers and production techniques.
